I agree with you Deano!
Joe has done amazing no matter what's happened!
we still havent heared the result yet,
RATM are pathetic,
&i hope their happy,
that they have done a PATHETIC thing,
just to stop, and amazing 18 year old boy,
been number one,
IDIOTS.

An '18 year old boy'? 'Amazing'?

What's scarier is some of them are almost certainly adults, legally...

Best quote I've read so far on that Joe McDingleberry board - "Lets hope the Chart company sling RATM out. Their behaviour from start to finish is disgusting and those behind the campaign deserve to be brought to task for public order offences. If they dont they are allowing bulk buying and also sanctioning this countrys neanderthals to just do what they like when they dont like something. I dont like that future at all."

I've just tried to access the UK Top 40 listing as maintained by Auntie and I got this:

My emphasis.

Go and have a lie down in a darkened room. It's all over.

On Friday the band's lead was just 9,000 copies, but sales then soared by 200,000 to secure victory.

probably being overloaded by Xfactor watchers, or DDOSed by RATM fans

RATM FTW!!

personally, i think this shows what power the general community can have: the ability to beat a commercial and no doubt very expensive campaign purely with word-of-mouth and a 16-year-old song is a mean feat, and a great way to sock in to the man

Magic of procrastination, or maybe people just put it off to see if it was worth trying at all

I have spend something like little over £2 on it myself, all I have to do now is collect my 5/1 bet for £10 I placed two weeks ago :D
Btw, 500k is really good result on its own. However facebook group having 950k members and some people buying number of songs it is not exactly brilliant. But hey, we won it at the end.

So what song are we going for next year ;)
