Risk and Othello for me, as they are the only ones I've ever heard of/played

Risk and Diplomacy for me.
They are pretty similar, but Diplomacy gets rid of a fair amount of the random factor of Risk, which is good.

Even though it worked against me as oft as it did for me, I recall many battles in Risk where a small force resited a much larger oppostion. Very infuriating if you were the oppositon.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Othello is a trade name for Reversi, if that helps? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ReversiI voted for it. It's one of a very few games I've tried to analyse mathematically because it's relatively simple. I'd like to say I prefer Go, but I'm so appallingly bad at it that it gets frustrating. I also voted for Diplomacy, which I've spent a fair few hours playing. I suck at it, but we usually have pizza and beer. I like pizza and beer.

I'm surprised so few people have heard of Absolute Balderdash.
