Welcome back C_C

As for Windows 7, I haven't used it and hopefully never will - I try only to use software written by adults.

I won't say welcome back since you haven't actually been anywhere in the real world but it is good to see you posting again. I hope whatever business kept you away ended satisfactorily.

Welcome back CC. Nice to see you here again.

Windows 7 is very, very good. A lot better than Vista having upgraded a couple of days ago.

JJ posted a thread about getting a new pussy. Now that you are back..........

Thanks for the greetings guys. Life is more than a bit tricky still but there is a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel now.

As to Win 7 thanks for the feedback esp. Dave who is an avid duel platform user and as such can compare with the OS that I am most used to.

Good to know that I can point my PC only clients towards an OS with a fair degree of confidence that they won't be disappointed.

Two last questions on Win 7. Is it still the RAM hog that Vista was? Not such an issue now that RAM is cheaper but nice to know what a reasonable minimum for running it might be. Also does it need anti-virus software or did MS plug the holes this time?

It needs AV software CC, much like the one Snow Leopard ships with. :P
