It seems that a few of the mobile phone shops are now giving out this gem of advice... If your Samsung Tocco keeps dropping calls try lock the screen after you press the dial button, as calls are being dropped due to the heat from the callers head causing some sort of electroradiogramaphonicradiotronicismal* type thing that the phone doesn't like... sounds like testes to me

some touch screens are heat-reactive, that how they detect where you are pressing, so heat from the users face might be setting off the touch screen and pressing the 'end call' button maybe? i know some of my friends where having trouble with their phones when it snowed here, because their fingers were so cold the screen couldnt pick it up :o

Yeah, I suppose it could be that... I'll have to check the wifes phone when I get home, as I know for a fact that mine locks the screen when you make a call, and I'm fairly sure that hers should as well... If it doesn't that's a fairly big design flaw in my opinion.

Radio DJ sacked for interrupting Queen's Christmas speech

Quote:
A radio DJ has been sacked after interrupting the Queen's speech on-air, telling listeners: "Two words: Bor-ing."

Stand-up comic and radio presenter Tom Binns made the comments during a Christmas Day show on Birmingham radio station BRMB.

The station took a feed of the Queen's annual address by mistake and Binns – who was working alone in the studio – took the decision to take it off air.

Binns then made a joke about the French royal family being beheaded and introduced the next song, Last Christmas by Wham!, with the words "from one Queen to another..."

Was just about to do my grocery shop. Asda can't deliver this week, Tesco want £6, Sainsbury's are free but only at 3pm on Thursday. Looks like I'm going to have to get dressed and go outside :? :o

Of course. Have I ever described what a visual representation of my memory would look like; a sieve with a hole punched through it.

Been and bought myself a new road bike today. :D

A 1999 T-reg Aprilia RS 50. clicky of a similar bike. It has 17k miles on the clock, needs a little bit of work (has a few scuffed panels and a dint in the exhaust) but I only paid £500 for it, which is unbelievably cheap considering it's taxed and texted until next October.

Which is nice. :)

I didn't sleep well last night, so I may be a little grumpy.

That was me yesterday - got all emotional when I left work.

Tuna sandwiches for breakfast aint that bad - better than plain crisps anyway.
