7:41am 30/12/09 + 6lb 15oz

I think we've chosen Emily Lucie Veater as the name. Not registered yet though so time to change our minds.

Nicola was amazing. Its our first and she got through it on gas and air (although the labour from 4cms to birth lasted 1.5hrs so she didnt get much say in the matter!!)

Here she is:

Hello Emily! Welcome to this mad old world!

Glad to hear Mum and Dad are doing fine, too.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Just a thought.....

You might want to change the spelling of Lucie. If it stays that way she'll forever have pen-pushers asking if her name's Lucy or Lucille.

My niece is a 13 year old Lucie. So far, it's not been an issue.

Congrats to you both, although it does seem rather unnatural. ;) :D
