Oh good, they've really pushed out the variety there :? Any game you like as long as it features one of the 'big four'.

I know what you mean, I hate big four too. At least most of them ;)

The entire league is elitist nonsense, and I (if I followed football) would be a Wolves fan so it's not just sour grapes. In fact,I can't wait until Wolves get relegated as the other divisions hold more excitement for the fans than the overpaid rubbish of the 'top' league.

Sad when most of the news around other teams in the league is "who will get relegated?" rather than "who is the underdog who could upset the table?" When was the last time there was a really big upset in the 'top' league, the seventies perhaps?

I'd rather see an HD match of the "Duck & Pheasant" playing "The Red Lion" tbqfh :)

I think, what with some of the results this season, it may turn out to be one of the most interesting years for some time.

But, yes, I agree in part. Long gone are the days where you would only get a yellow card if you actually broke somebody's leg and metatarsals hadn't been invented. :D

Freesat HD is pretty special, very good for 'Life' and Wimbledon.

If you've got an old sky dish still on the wall, can you adjust it to receive freesat? After changing the box obviously.

If you have a freesat tuner in your telly or a freesat box, and an aerial cable coming from your dish, then... probably. It just has to pick up the satellite.

Don't adjust it :)

You don't even need to change the box, just get a Freesat from Sky card, you get Fiver/Five US on top of the FTA Freesat channels :)

Cool, I didn't know you could do that!

I think my parents might have an old sky dish on the side of their house, and they just bought a new telly recently.

Cheers for the heads up, fin.

It all comes in on Astra 2D (28.2* East) pretty much which is the same angle as the Sky channels, so no dish change is needed

a FSFS card I think is around £20, but decent for an easy way to watch the channels.

Yes, but not in HD.

Some people will be getting freeview HD. By the time the world cup starts something like 60% of the population will be inside the Freeview HD broadcasting 'footprint'. However no existing Freeview equipment can decode the freeview HD signal (it's broadcast as DVB-T2, rather than DVB-T) so if you want to watch it you'll have to get a new set-top box.

BBC HD is already available both on Freesat HD and Sky HD, so if you get those you will get BBC HD. ITV HD is supposed to be available only on Freesat HD but a quick google will get instructions on how to get it on Sky HD too.

It's a faf to get it on Freesat equipment in a HTPC to start with!
