So, in the eyes of Linux fanboys Microsoft are the ones who would try and help you out if you were choking on something? I would have said they would be the first to perform the heimlich maneuver but I can't spell it. Oh wait. I just did.

Can I just point out the Linux view from the Mac Fanboys might actually be a little flattering?

Hustle is back on BBC1 Monday at 9pm I think Oh, and just in case anyone didn't see the Top Gear thread, it's the final episode tonight at 8pm on BBC2...

I've always liked it, though I still haven't gotten round to seeing some of the very first episodes It was one of those fleeting BBC ads that a lot of people usually seem to miss, me included...

Why are people still wringing their hands about getting their kids inoculated? Makes me cross.

Forgot the FPOTD so I'm in here.....went to see The View (Scottish band) last night at a local venue here and it was awesome. Small venue and there can only have been about 100 or so people inside (I think) so it was good to be able to get close.
Tickets were cheap too and because it wasn't sold out they were doing 2 for 1 if you bought online on the day/day before. Unfortunately no-one here (at my work) had heard of them, or wanted to come, so I ended up just giving my spare ticket away at the door, got me a few free drinks though.
Edit: On a side note, have any of you guys heard of them?

I had heard of them via Classic Rock magazine, though I don't know any of their stuff - it's worth keeping an eye out for the mag if it's available over there. Free CD of some sort of rock music each month usually, or just something cool It covers older acts with brilliant interviews/retrospectives and whatever rock bands ('traditional', indie, metal, punk, prog, you name it) are up and coming: http://www.classicrockmagazine.com/newsThe site isn't working at time of typing , but there's free tracks at least five days a week if you don't get anything else from it. All individual links in the news section, you don't have to sign up to CR or anything, usually just the site of the band as you'd expect

Thanks! That's really useful as I'm always interested in finding out about new bands, I'm going to try and get to as much live music as possible now I'm living so close to the city.
