Oh you have to love it. I get the best part of a foot of snow outside my door, Manchester Airport gets shut down, the whole of the north is basically trying to dig it's way out of a blanket of snow and what's the first weather related news item on the BBC News?

'Met office issues weather warning for south east : heavy snow due this evening'

/facepalm.

Well, it's snowing here in the NE and everything seems to be going on ok aside from at the little crappy airports.

Yay for snow!

14 inches here (...and the snow as we------ [Stop it - Editor] )

Come on Jon - don't you know that the entire universe revolves around the 13 million dribble-monkeys in that big sh!thole we call a capital?

It's not as if the North has ever done anything useful anyway.

The four o' clock snow didn't come, gonna be a blizzard at six now, apparently. Doesn't look much like it at the moment.

Apart from the fact I'm going to have to commute into Newcastle over the next few weeks for uni work :(

Still got 9-12" of snow in the back garden in places though!
