Night! Been trying to get some sleep for the last 18 hours! Dog has been driving me crazy - the fireworks driving him crazy... I'm now back home and going to try and get a couple of hours rest... :?

I just set my camera up for a time lapse experiment. For the next 18hrs my camera's going to be counting down the minutes of my life.

Do you need some sort of automatic shutter release device or does your camera have a timelapse 'mode' - do you need a bigger battery etc?

My camera has an inbuilt Interval Timer that's used for this stuff.
I'm just running this from the standard battery as there's no extra long life battery for my camera and I don't have an external mains supply.
I screwed up the setup last night by leaving on the auto focus so when the room went black and there was nothing to focus on I think the camera used up a lot of battery power by searching.
I've rectified that now and restarted the test.
