Apparently it's kept the two leading members of Aerosmith looking good they reckon

You don't need a rear view mirror to pass the MOT (or at least you never used to). We had a Ford somethingorother a few years ago and it had one of those stupid mirror that stuck to the windscreen (as apposed to being properly attached somewhere), it fell off very quickly and Dad happily drove the car for about five years with it passing it's MOT. He got very good at reversing onto the drive without it....

According to this site, the MOT tests mirrors in the following way:

As it happens, I got a call on Friday to update a (rather trivial) network related program. I actually quite enjoy this kind of thing. What I hate though, is that he phoned me 4:30pm on Friday and expects it for Monday!! It should only take me a couple of hours, but it's the principle of the thing. I'm sure he knew what he needed a lot earlier than that

Today the Purple One took me around Aberystwyth with a camera loaded with a roll of black and white film. I learnt how to use a camera with manual focus dealing with different depth perceptions. I then learnt how to develop the film, the trickiest of bit was getting the film out of the canister and onto the developing reels in the dark...Next week I'll be learning how to print them hopefully I'm in two minds whether I should use a neg scanner to make them digital, or whether I should print them and then scan in the result...

Manual is fun, isn't it? Takes me back - haven't hand processed film in years. Ah, hours in the dark room with Stevie Wonder's Innervisions playing, no lights on and trying not to 'stumble' into your heavy chested lab partner... Scan the neg.

I learned that the Chinese are liars. They sell a inner rotor kit (a smaller flywheel basically) for pitbikes. Smaller flywheel = less weight = less mass for the engine to get spinning which means that the engine can rev much quicker and higher basically. It's sold saying that it generates 12 volts, when in fact it generates about 48v and it proceeded to cook my entire wiring loom on my pitbike. Damn.

That pushing your neighbour's rear wheel drive car in the snow gets you very dirty.

I learnt that I'm still not suitable for laser eye surgery.
I could have it and it would work but in 6 months time I wouldn't be able to see again.

I learnt about the Japanese Black Dragon society, although I have forgotten it already. I have the worlds worst memory, it either ingrained or it not there.

Red Devil energy drink tastes like calpol I'm tired and onto my 2nd report, found out 4 lines of code gets me 3-4 marks in one place, and in another 300+ lines written from scratch gets me 0-2 marks and 400+ fully working is 3-6 marks. Can't help but think all the work I have done past few days has been a huge waste of my time that I can dedicate to the design of it worth 20 marks when the server itself which is FAR more work is only worth 10 working perfectly....

T-mobile do not tell you to take the battery out when doing a handset exchange. They just expect you to know
