I like the way you mentioned upstream, as it doesn't look much like a river. :P

Not very impressive is it?

That's only about 10 miles from the source at Arbury Hill. Mind you, it was a proper big river in 1998 during the floods - maybe, as lacloss points out, it will be again when all the snow melts!

I was thinking about the upcoming floods yesterday. No doubt the 'best' of the national papers will call it the Big Thaw.

No snow here, it piled up loads then disappeared quickly on Sunday and Monday.

Now it's just dark, the snow made it far brighter.

Was to busy to post yesterday ,but whilst in Dungannon (town 3miles from home) i had to use the public loo in the centre car park. After a morning of sleet it decided to snow.I parked the car and tootles of to the loo and came out to find a lady walking down the car park shouting about her car.

I look round the corner of the building to find her car hanging over the edge of the wall but not hitting the car on the lower level :o

It turned out that she had parked the car, slammed the door shut and watched it slide down the hill as she electronically locked the car...........

No one was injured but she was a bit shocked to say the least
She was on the phone to her hubby when i left her....

yours wecrookie

We have a digger clearing them at our place. We have a few more employees than you though, I'd imagine.

The latest BBC forecast suggests light snow from 3AM to 3PM, they haven't been hugely accurate recently though!

Still wish I was playing in the snow though! :|

Allow me to be the first to express my jealousy over your lack of snow and coldness.

I am jealous... There, said it! :D
