I have just sat through War Games: The Dead Code.

It was released in 2008, but I didn't even know a sequel had been made, and now I wish they hadn't bothered.

I was pretty sure it would suck, but nostalgia forced me to watch it, and it is truly dreadful. It isn't even so bad that it's good, if you know what I mean.

Anyone else seen a spectacularly awful film lately?

Feel free to share.

Hangover.

I was tricked into watching it by two of my friends who both said they'd seen it and it was really good.

What followed was an incredibly american "movie" with one cheap gag after another.

No story, no characters, just boredom and predictability.

My friends loved it. :?

I also loved it, the childish, storyless nature of it is what made it great IMO. I guess it shows my mental age.

I saw a trailer for the film Adventureland and it made it look like just another cheap gag movie. Its so not though. Its actually very good. I'd recommend it.

Anyway back on topic - there's not many films I switch off, I guess I try to avoid the really dud ones, but I turned off Twilight after trying to watch it recently.

I thought that was brilliant. The first comedy I've genuinely Lol'd at for a couple of years.

Saw something the other day that was truly awful, but I think my brain's blocked it out as I can't for the life of me remember anything about it!

Beverley Hills Chihuahua

As bad as that AWFUL baby evian advert. Babies and animals should not be tampered with using CGI. It just doesn't look right.

Starship Troopers 2 - Hero of the Federation.

What a massive pile of [LIFTED]. A complete and total FAIL compared to the first film.
I understand the third one is meant to be a lot closer to the first in terms of of set up and quality but I haven't seen it yet and am reluctant to do so after the rubbish second one.

1) Wolves Of Willoughby Chase, good book, terrible terrible film.
You've never seen a film that bears so little resemblance to the book.

2) Star Trek 5.
What a steaming turd that one was!

3) Back to the future 2.
A poor blip on an otherwise great trilogy.

Not as bad as Matrix: Revolutions. At least I could understand what was going on in Reloaded. Shame as the original Martix was awesome.

Blair Witch Project.

I've seen many bad films, but when I try to think of the worst movie I've ever seen then this one always pops into my mind first.

I watched Madagascar the other day. I was told it was funny, so I waited patiently for the joke to arrive while watching the antics of some truly hideously designed characters.

The joke never arrived. Unless it was “on me”.

AHA!!!!

Thank you Paul - now I'm not the only one. It's [LIFTED].

They don't make em like they used to. Dumbo and Bambi FTW!

Haha I love that film. I'm not saying its good because its not, but I still love it.

+1 on the Madagascar front.

Went to the Cinema to watch the Sherlock Holmes movie, some of the worst acting I have ever seen. There were people walking out halfway through.
