Out of interest, how much is purchased (LP, cassette, CD or digital download etc.)?
(Want to make that an anonymous poll Caz?

Oh Jesus don't even get me started on vinyl and CDs etc. I've got about 300 7" singles, a massive crate of albums and 12" singles then shelf after shelf of CDs. My head hurts just thinking about it all let alone counting them. Would hardly be anonymous if I created it now would it

For my part, a good 95% of the music comes from a purchased CD collection. I've digitised a couple of albums, but it takes so long to do I don't have much time for it. I think there are one or two [legal] downloaded files, not including the podcasts.
I don't buy downloads from Amazon or the iTMS. I prefer to have the shiny CD and the packaging on my shelves.

I had about 40 days as a result of a mate downloading his iPod to my machine. Had a bit of a clear out and decided to get rid of anything that wasn't mine.
So it's now 2920 songs, 8.4 days, 13.08 gb.
Amongst that, there's probably 20 illegally downloaded tracks (for which I couldn't find anywhere to purchase), 5 purchased downloaded singles, and the rest all from CDs. Like Heather, I buy albums on CD, so that I have the whole thing, however, I do occasionally buy singles as downloads.
