I did my wedding on a Friday at the registry office followed by dinner at a restaurant & beer in the pub (20 or so guests), then on the Saturday we hired an island in the thames with a venue on it & did a party with band for 150 people (or so)

They do know how to brew a good pint there. They also make the only lager I will voluntarily drink (at least in this country).

How much snow? 2" in Kingston but I expect it to be worse deeper in to Surrey. Even our most die-hard engineer has abandoned his car & decided to walk home.
