Let's hope that's true. My contract's run out so don't want to be paying for a handset I've already paid for.

Depending on what spec the new handset is, I'll either upgrade or move on to O2's little known Simplicity for iPhone which is available for people coming off their iPhone contracts http://cow.neondragon.net/index.php/o2s ... ity-tariff£20p/m for * 600 minutes * 1,200 texts * Unlimited web & wi-fi (still have access to Oenworld and The Cloud * Visual Voicemail

Looks good to me My contract is up in April/May and I'll be looking to change network (and poss go PAYG) with either the Nexus one, Sony Ericsson X10 or the next iPhone. If the rumours are anywhere near true then it'll be worth looking at.

call 2302 from your iphone. Options 2, 2, 1, 4 then ask to move to the iphone simplicity. You can then upgrade at anytime after 30 days. All for £20 a month.

My contract is up at some point this month, definitely shifting across as soon as possible. That will more than halve my bill

I find it somewhat unlikely we'll get a new iPhone in April. Apple generally announce new iPods/IPhones in the summer don't they?
Plus, if they do announce the iClipBoard at the end of this month, it probably won't be shipping in volume until March or early April. Why steal the thunder of one of your new products by announcing another over it?

Give me an option to get one with a hardware keyboard or I'm not interested. Everyone I see that uses one in uni seems to always have it out on show.... is it because: 1. They scratch easier than iPods and cases cost as much as a Bugatti Veyron? 2. They are pricks trying to show how cool they are? 3. They are waiting for someone to call them so they can show off how to answer a phone with no dedicated send/receive buttons? Answers on a postcard Me... I'm waiting till the Nexus One reaches the UK..... so the cost of the Motorola Milestone comes down in price so I can get that

4. They're useful, good fun and they like using them (which kind of necessitates them being 'out on show')? Re. cases - Clicky. Between £2 and £20 delivered. Much like any other phone case.
