Well, I heard about this a couple of days ago and thought I'd give it a watch.

A few of my friends who are the type of people that hate the type of TV show I thought it was really loved it :D

It's really good!

Anyone else watching it?

It'd be really enjoyable, were it not for the singing and dancing in every episode.
It did the rounds at work a few months back - I made it ep. 5 and threw in the towel.
It just got too irritating.

E4 I think

I watched it with my girlfriend... found it quite funny, not too keen on the singing bits but it was still funny with the "You think that's hard" one liner :)

Watched one. It was utter dross. Which is a shame given Jane Lynch can be quite funny.

My, how things have changed, I can now actually commentate on current TV shows thanks to my Australia stint. And for the most part of it, TV today is cr4ptastic*. Terrestrial Australian TV might be a bad yard stick to go on - but it's all I have.

*he says (not so secretly waiting) for his next fix of the new series of Simpsons; the combined eye candy delight of Cobie Smulders & Alyson Hannigan in "How I Met Your Mother", toying with the notion of saying he likes "30 Rock" and anxiously awaiting the first showing of "The Pacific" - with a passing interest in "Underbelly" aswell.

Nope.
They always put the best bits in the trailer and the trailer was pants.

DUDE!! I thought you'd disappeared down a hole in the outback!

How I Met Your Mother is an awesome show for many reasons and those are just two of them. Neil Patrick Harris is LEGEN - wait for it, and I hope you're not lactose intolerant, because the last part of that word is - DAIRY! :D

I'm dying for The Pacific as well. Really excited for that. Might wait for the Blu-Ray though, so I can see it in 1080p.

Glee is hilarious, but I guess you have to be in a silly mood to an extent. Jane Lynch is very funny, but takes a few eps to hit her stride. I just find it refreshing next to all the dark, serious stuff on TV.

Yeah and Matthew Morrison (Shue) is gonna put out an album after the summer. It returns from hiatus in April, and then the kids go on tour over the summer. Ryan Murphy is a genius.

Check iTunes or grooveshark (and I'm sure plenty of other places) for songs from the show.

We've seen the advert twice while watching "The IT Crowd" online and are both counting our lucky stars that we don't have a telly. No chance of "accidentally" eye-raping ourselves

It is curious how people who have never seen it can automatically know that it's crap.

I love it though!

I don't know it's crap, I just know it's the kind of thing my Mister and I would hate. If you love it then all power to your yardarm or summat 8-)
