It's snowing in Sale, but doesn't seem to be sticking.

I left work at 1:15pm, it was snowing then and it snowed most of the way home although the roads are mostly just wet. Now I'm home, about to make a cuppa and some porridge for lunch and it's snowing in very small flakes, everything is really wet and slushy so I'll have to keep an eye on the temp tonight to give me an indication of whether I can get out in the morning.

I trust they undertook a full risk assessment before they started. :)

Round our way a woman in her 40s was hospitalised because she used a temporary roadworks sign as a sledge, and ended up wedged head first under a parked car.

I stole a men at work sign (it wasn't in use, just propped against a wall) a couple of years ago and left it in my friends front garden. We thought it was hysterical.

She said she took it in and left it outside her bedroom door

Still half a metre in places here. Starting to melt though. Hopefully the worst will be gone by next week, don't fancy carry all my furniture and boxes down the icy steps to the flat!

The snow is dying then.
