I would never ever consider voting for a national party. they market fear and hatred. We had once scare in France in 2001 that the FN would win. i think that's enough for a lifetime

So, you want to hand the psychopath a loaded weapon and point them in the direction of the school, in order to improve the education system? Don't do it. There are plenty of better alternatives than supporting this shower of [LIFTED].

Lets face it, they get a few votes from racist nut jobs and the rest from people who are fed up of giving lots of benefits to failed immigrants*. As soon as the main parties clamp down on the illegals, the BNP votes will dry up.
*Legit' immigrants are fine.

Griffin is very likely out of his depth as an MEP. he was certainly not up to coping with Question Time.

but if the BNP gain MP's then it should shake up the 'so called' establishment
and the establishment need a good shaking
more to the point after the next GE get used to cuts, cuts and more cuts taxes, taxes and more taxes
regardless of who wins if the BNP make them uncomfortable then so be it …

I quite agree, things need shaking up, but you can't do that by letting the fox into the hen house. If the BNP are perceived as a popular choice, all that'll breed is more policies like theirs. That's why the 2 main parties suffer from the same problems; chasing the perceived popular notion of the time rather than an ideology. Yes, there's going to be cuts and more taxation regardless of who wins, but I'd like someone in charge with some basic grasp of where those taxes should be going.

Well who's the biggest problem, the illegal migrant who shares a flat with 10 others and works under minimum wage to survive or the 16yo girl with 3 kids who get a house and benefits? Migrants are an issue in most western countries, but i don't think it is the main issue in the UK. Getting the kids to do vocational training, cut down benefits, and get them to work should be the priority of the government. But when a country can't deal with its problem it's a lot easier to find some scapegoats and create fear. (see burqa laws etc in France to hide the growing unemployement rates)
