does anyone know how to make windows media player properly shut down when i hit the dam big X button..
so annoying trying to pause spotify using keyboard keys to have wmp start playing another song
got windows 7 and yes i have googled it

file > exit, doesnt work
yes iam sure iam closing it..when i hit the play button it will carry on playing even though there is no window with it..

Not pointed out the obvious questions though..... Which version of windows 7? Legit? Retail or OEM/upgrade? 32/64bit? media keyboard? which version of media player? (as in exactly) Soundcard? Use Winamp then  http://www.winamp.com/ It works beautifully with 64 bit Win 7.
