Hi

I have an 80gb iPod Classic - and recently had to restore the factory settings as it went a bit weird and lost all my artwork...

Since then I've had real trouble with podcasts. When I transfer them through iTunes (I do it manually) they don't seem to appear on the iPod - certainly not in the podcast menu in iTunes or browsing on the iPod.

The other day I found them in the music list, so I changed them all to 'podcast' using the get info... and then they all disappeared completely... I can find them when I use the 'search', but they don't appear when browsing.

Any ideas? Am I going to have to back up the iPod and restore again to maybe kick it back into life again?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Check your sync settings in itunes - mine by default only syncs the latest unviewed/listened-to podcast, so you have to change it...

Thanks for that, but they are on there if you use the search - they just don't appear in the menus!?

I have been having trouble copying them across too though so that might help - thanks!
