http://www.fhm.com/news/funny/15-things ... m_content=That would have to be my choice from the list Otherwise, the only thing coming to mind at the moment are those 'man bag' monstrosities you still see occasionally

That one made me laugh, I can imagine a "lads washing machine" with a games controller for the interface

I had my PDP this week, as I work off site it was all over email and 'phone.... ....took me a sum total of 5 minutes to agree with what my boss said, then 3 minutes to type a message agreeing with it, plus bemoaning the lack of my support to the MD. I used to have one person supporting me, who the firm got rid of as a cost saving measure; ie. a nice convenient way to rid the company of the "psycho-from-hell-takes-the-company-to-tribunal-3-times-and-fails-yet-carries-on-working-after-threatening-to-bring-them-and-our-customers-down" employee. As you can imagine, her PDPs used to take upwards of 3 days, involving emails longer than a Dickens serialisation, plus disagreement with the wording change from "support to..." to "support for..." etc

My washing machine has a Man setting on it. It's called Mixed Load. There's even little pictures to tell you what the words mean (I kid you not). I'd use it too if it wasn't so far round the bleedin' dial thingy and made full use of all the rpm I paid for when I got it. As for appraisals. I think mine will be due fairly soon. I predict it will go pretty much the same as all the previous ones: So, how do you think things are going? Fine. Lack of proper promotion prospects is irritating. Right, well see you in 6 months then.

I’m told “put the washing machine into the 30 degree wash”. The thing is that there are THREE 30 degree washes. I have a 1/3 chance of getting the right one based on the funny symbols. It’s not the need for a games controller, but for the whole bloody user interface to be re done.

Oddly, I bet the washing machine UI is designed by men...

If it was it would just have an on/off button.

Hmm... so have I? It could possibly be... "If it was it would have just had an on/off button".
