I hate wearing T-shirts but at present I don't have the cash to buy otherwise. I'm currently in a 10 year-old T-shirt that is by no means my oldest. Shirt & tie FTW! Oh and while we're on the subject, why do men have to wear a tie in most offices but women can, seemingly, wear whatever they want? Why do I have to look smart but she can wear denim or leather?

I don't think that statement is correct I haven't worked in an office since 1997 where a suite was required for men. An occasional suit for senior management meetings but that's about it. ( thankfully )

One for the learn something new every day thread lol. I don't think my interest in leather is any different to the next person. Would love to know where he works where people DO wear leather to work though.

I am lucky in that I wear jeans to work, sometimes with blouses (when we have external visitors) but mostly with t-shirts. Our dess policy is quite lax, but most of the Exec make an effort with smart trousers and shirts. Since I live in jeans at work I don't see them as "comfy" slouchable clothes so I change into sweats and oversized t-shirt in the evening when I get home, most of the other people at work that I've polled (this afternoon) feel the same and have a variety of even sloppier clothing at home to wear on their off days. I don't wear pj's so can't stay in them during the weekends
