Life on other planets - statistically probable.
Little green men listening to us - my arse.
Even if (by some miracle) that was another species with our level of technology etc, they'd be so far away for us not to have spotted them, that any signal we do send would take thousands of years to get there (if not longer).

The presupposes that other life has some kind of green ethic or higher morals. That’s a very human emotional hope. The brutal reality is more liklely that other species out there are as destructive and violent as we are. They just have not found us yet.

As I understand it, they can be defeated with Apple products. Question is, will the iPad be up to it in a pinch? ;)
