Just look inside it. If there is one notch it's DDR near the moddle if there are 2 (one in the middle and one a cm from one end) it's SDRAM.

Okies, update time.
I've managed to find 512megs of RAM for the DP machine, but that's not enough to reliably run Photoshop, so until a time comes when I can max. the memory out on the DP machine I'll be using the other Mac, which has 1.25GB RAM.
Not an ideal situation at all, but the best that I can do right now.

Just two. The machine has four and two have 256megs in them. I'm really looking to max. the machine out at 2GB, but pricing that up on crucial.com comes to £80, and I just don't have that at the moment. Thanks very much for taking a look in your box. I tried the RAM guys here in work but they don't have any. (8+( Mark
