My headteacher at primary school did an assembly on a palindromic date.

It was 19/9/1991 :D

I still remember it now and I was only 8 at the time!

He also did an assembly about a new mountain that had been found that was taller than Everest. It was called the Iger Matterhorn. This Dutch guy had just reached the summit, his name was Loof Lirpa. Which, if you spell his name backwards, happens to be April Fool. :lol: He had the whole school going for about 20 miunutes! :lol:
