From memory somebody did a map of where forumites were from if anybody can remember more we could use that sort of thing. Think it might have been on the old forum though.

Yeah, it was in the Rogue's Gallery thread and if I recall correctly, it was Shawpower, (Rob) who set it up...

The Museum in Farnham, Dorset. The Jack in the Green near Exeter. The Spread Eagle in Lancashire. And shameless plug for my sister's pub The Blue Vinny in Dorset, which really is good, I'm not just saying it!

I made a Google map last night whilst The Beast was eating, and linked to it in a post on the previous page. I'll continue to update it if you want? And possibly move the link to the top of the thread?

Not this time. Wonderful meal and atmosphere. The company wasn't half bad either. Mark

It may be a bit far to go for lunch but this place... Google maps clickydoes the nicest tempura I have ever had! You get the food on sticks and raw and there's a pot of tempura batter and a black kettle full of hot oil and you cook the stuff yourself! Very nice!

I've been to both, but it's the cake that's the important thing. That orange and cranberry one is to die for.

Fusion, Aberdeen. Top top restaurant! Three courses for just under £30, and they really are top quality.

But that would involve going to Southall. The in-laws live near there and it's a dump.

Indeed, Southall is not the prettiest of boroughs, but Rita's is perhaps one of the best curry houses I've ever eaten in. Although, viewers in Scotland may like to try The Creme de la Creme in Glasgow. I last ate there over a decade a go, so YMMV, but it was very very good when I did.
