And to the tories if the PR system is not effective then how come the french and germans do so well on it.

Changes to the FPP system only get mentioned by parties that stand to gain the most from it, thats why no party in power and likely to get returned in the next election ever puts it forward seriously.
Until there is a winner in May anything any politician says should be treated as an outright lie. One party has all ready gone to court to defend its right to completly ignore manafesto pledges.

So the best option is shoot the lot of em and pick random people from the polpulation that conform to having a reasonable education and intelligence, with more instant referendums.
A career politician is someone that definatley needs to be euthanisied!! :twisted:
