Well Boston Dynamics have just announced that following their "proof of concept" they have been awarded the funding from DARPA to produce LS3. A working, legged, load carrying, intelligent robot to serve in the armed forces!

How that thing handles the ice is amasing. Heres hoping they see it through and i can buy one to ride to work.

It's strange to watch I think.

So of it's movements are extremely animal like.

Also, when it's walking along it looks like 2 people holding something between them, one walking forward, the other walking backward.
