Its actually sonic 5, sonic 4 is available on megadrive ROM (I own sonic 1 to 4) using my megadrive emulator, Sonic 4 was meant to happen but its unreleased and very rare to find apparently, it was differant to 1 and 3 though as sonic and tails were binded together in a chain and you had to work together to get anywhere, was fun too

Errr... if it was never released it would be impossible to find. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sonic_the_ ... 8series%29There is no other Sonic 4, it may have been called something else but is not officially Sonic 4.......

I didn't mind the Sonic sections from that last game out on the 360... sure it was 3D, but it occasionally went 2D and was just rather fun to play... supposedly the other Werehog levels were rather appalling though .

Screens and movie reveal levelshttp://www.computerandvideogames.com/ar ... ?id=235209Kinda looks like it always did, though some of the animation work has changed, and not for the better IMO

Has there ever been a DK game for the DS, just out of curiosity? I've never played any DK game for any real length of time, but the property seems quite neglected...

There wont be any more TBH..... Nintendo owns the IP, Rare (now owned by MS) made them, I can't see Microsoft making a Wii game when they could make it on the 360... It's the same reason there is no Perfect Dark, Conkers bad fur day, Goldeneye (though that is more complex also involving activision) on any Nintendo consoles now...

Ah, that explains a lot, sh1t when the legal worries/old loyalties get in the way of something that could be truly stellar and make everyone concerned money they wouldn't otherwise have

Nintendo have said they didn't really care, it's much more down to ActiBlizzard who own the rights to all James Bond games now (hence Quantum of Solace being activision)
It's not a bad thing really.... PD was far superior to Goldeneye (bots, better maps, falling etc)
But for DK.... they would have to get a new team in, Rare are still making the IP of old, things like BK and PD have been ported and BK: Nuts and Bolts came out a while ago which were Nintendo IPs when Rare worked for them, but as Rare owned the IP they took it with them when they left.
Only recent DK games I have seen have been Virtual Console ones....

More and bigger shots here: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/ar ... ?id=236192Everything I've seen so far suggests they've just spruced up Sonic 1
