A reduction in religious programming? If only! Someone please take Songs of Praise off the air.

Note that Church attendance is down (if we are talking CofE here), and the BBC should ideally reflect the religious habits of society.

Apart from the news and perhaps a bit of breakfast TV I very rarely watch anything on the BBC anyway. I want some of my Licence Fee back! Am I paying for crap like Bargain Hunt, Homes under the hammer, Heir hunters etc?

The BBC already does reflect the religious views of society. What are the new religions? Consumerism, celebrity worship, self-abuse, political cynicism, populist pseudo-science, manufactured outrage, willful ignorance, self-serving and fear. Oh and a very small contingent of tired, old-style, religious output. So-called christians only have themselves to blame. Swing the axe.

Cartoon Network used to show them as well. Now it seems to be wall to wall Ben 10.

Yes but do they get public funding for religious programming?

No bratty, they don't. They re-enact a lot of the Bible, and have a lot to do with sacred geometry. Owls and Satanism isn't them.
