What about this?

The victim's name is Michael Severs! Lucky for him it wasn't his head.

You threaten to rape a man's wife, you deserve to get your ear cut off.

Property theft is no justifcation for serious maiming/murder. Someone runs at me with a knife and I had a gun? I'd shoot the fecker. Someone comes to steal my spuds....blow him up?

I had zero sympathy for Michael Martin. If he'd shot them as they came at him fair enough, but to shoot one in the back as he runs off with your telly? Hardly proportionate.

I'm sorta thinking, 'fcuk proportionate, he's getting away!'

Plus he is still on your land. It is not quite the same as the case where they get help and then beat the heck out of one of the burglars, so much so that he is brain damaged.

So trespass is warrant enough to commit murder? Interesting.....

I was not condoning it. There are a few places where a burglar has no rights at all, and the property owner is actually encouraged to kill the burglar. In the US there are townships were gun ownership is mandatory.

Quite right, they should of at least finished him off.
