Next time you're with her, talk to her about it, why does she find you clingy? It doesn't have to be an interrogation, just in conversation.
I know if there are any problems in my relationship I don't just get told something, I'm told why my gf thinks that, and vice versa to an extent.

As to being clingy, you can't be any worse than me when I started living away from my gf, I'd text her most of the day, and be a little like a limpet when I got to see her for the day and a half we had together that month...But that's from living in each others pockets for a year and then not seeing each other for a month or two...

Well for what it's worth, the last time I was told I was clingy, was 2000. I was subsequently dumped in favour of a guy who's still with my ex today.

Was I clingy - yes. However, my point is, people don't usually put it like that unless there's a bigger picture IMO. I'm hardly an expert though. Done with women for the time being.

one of my friends was dumped for being clingy and annoying. apparently he was constantly texting her just saying "hiya, what u up to?" like an irritating prannox, which he is, but this may not be the case with you.

she then dumped him for an alcoholic goth, and they are still together :D

basically, girls are weird :?

I don't think so (well, from the perspective of my reply) if he is always the one organising when they see each other, always making the effort and she accuses him of being clingy, then he can back off without actually being manipulative, he's doing what she's asked after all.

Wasn't levelled at you Zippy! I just found it amusing that everyone over there was fully like "just be yourself". Where here, there's all these "strategies" and ideas on how to work it. Just found that funny, but hey, I'm weird like that.

First of all thanks loads guys. :)
I think I am gonna back off and not arrange or text back right away and see what she does about that. But I did appologise for what I did because I was seeking out an arguement and being snappy after an arguement with me mam.

Nah it's not manipulative it's just changing your behavior due to familiarity and security on her side I guess, because she's not putting effort in and I am so she doesn't think theres any need to carry on. Its difficult to take control since I am more affectionate than she (which by the way is nill affectionate), it took me ages to find out about things that made her that way (very closed she is).

Shes never been dumped by a guy before and I have been on the verge of finishing her before, but then the super ego jumps in. :x

I know that if I did then lessons would become awfully uncomfortable and I would miss the daft chats me and her have.

Bish is right to an extent I should dump her but then it's finding the next one for a relationship or I can party and [LIFTED]. Theres no rush though.

For the record, I used to be married to a guy whom not only did I live with, but he changed jobs to work at the same place as me, always wanted us to do everything together, even if he just wanted to watch TV, and would only 'let' me go out on my own, without complaint, when I was having a night out with the girls. That's clingy in my book!!

bloody 'ell.

Clingy to me aswell seems to be a guy who wanted to get with her, whom she turned down, text her till 4 in the morning. Half her exs leaving hun and darling at the end of texts and when she split up with her last boyfriend in favour of me she got about 3 of her exs asking her out and one asking her to marry him AGAIN. She went out with a guy who asked her to marry him on several occasions when they were going out, which were promptly declined, considering she was only 16 at the time.

until today tuesday when I camplain because she cancels because of "tiredness and mood"

This is the exact point where you went wrong.

When a woman is in bad mood just throw everything away and run for your life. We all now that women are irrational, unpredictable and use arguments that don't make sense to a man. But when they are in a bad mood and you go into argument with them you can only lose. They will say that "white is black" and "you are an idiot if you can't see that". There is nothing that can be done, no amount of well suported arguments can make a woman admit that she is wrong about something (when she is in a bad mood that is).

What you must say is "You are absolutely right darling, I don't understand how I could be so stupid and not see it myself. Please forgive me"
And once she calmed down or she is not in the mood again (read "not for another day at least") you can try using your arguments again...
