OMG A new FPOTD thread!?! :o

Well, Bore Da, hope you're all ok. I have caught death and am slowly dying from it, it's possible that at some point today my head will explode from the pressure building up in my sinuses so that my legacy at Speedo will be covering my colleagues in blood, branes and snot of a Tuesday afternoon. I'm so incredibly tired, my body has just lost the will to do anything which made driving to work quite interesting, but I had a lie in until 05:45 and day broke as I drove into work so I'm finding it difficult to be totally miserable.

That said, I reckon I'm not staying at work all day, I'm already having trouble concentrating and my day is going to be buried in travel so I think best option is to get flight info sorted, chuck it on travel forms and email them out for people to have a look at, then push off home to bed.

Iz a plan!

Morning all,

Been in work for an hour and a half and haven't stopped... This is turning into an alarming trend.

Have a great day everyone.

:)

Lo peeps

Today is my 'Monday' as I had a long weekend :D You take one day off and three weeks work lands on your desk

We didn't buy a timeshare this weekend but I had great fun proving how expensive they were as opposed to their interpretation of how cheap it could be  The lady rep had no answer to my lappy and 3G connection which provided me with all the ammunition I needed :D She folded her hand around the point I asked for everything she had just told me to be produced in written format.

Still, we got a free weekend out of it so it kept the family happy.

Al

Morning all. PCA/FCA today. Seems they don't want us in the audit though, so we're all on standby waiting for when we're needed. I see there's some threads with interesting titles to investigate. And I need to research icon design and how one goes aboot getting it done later. Not that I have much need immediately, but y'know...

Afternoon all, back in the office after a rally drive through the country to a customers site (a gliding centre).
Got to unlock the FD's phone for him as he's playing silly buggers.

Should be fun

Afternoon folks.
The joys of BT fault reporting. It certainly takes a while for them to answer the phone although I was happy to be talking to some nice people in Cardiff.

Anyway, have a good one folks.

Morning all,

Got a very apologetic phone call from British Gas last night, regarding the engineer visit which wasn't booked last weekend, and they are coming out on Saturday to replace the meter, so hooray for me for complaining!

Another busy day ahead, and I'm waiting on the phone call from my brother to let me know that I am an uncle again.

Have a great day everyone.

:)

Morning all. Another day of reading and general research for the TopSekretProject (TM). It's nothing to do with work, but it's the most useful thing I can do today.

Morning all.
Well, I have managed to recreate my broadband problem using 4 different filters and 2 different routers now so I'm guessing it's probably not my equipment.
Zen tech support here we come.

Have a good one folks.

'Ello all,

A really grey and rainy day today, supposed to start snowing tonight and stay that way for the rest of the week  Boo, Hiss!!
I am still feeling totally shattered, even after a few hours sleep yesterday afternoon and then a good nights sleep last night, my body does have a tendancy to do this when I'm fighting a bug though so it's not a big surprise! More sleep required I believe. Still, we had lovely pancakes last night and then I didn't feel like eating anything else so we have a choice of soup or grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner tonight which then means we don't have to go shopping until at least Friday

I had a very hot, nice lavender smelly bath last night and finished reading "Nation" the latest PTerry book (I think) which is brilliant! I feel much better than I did yesterday, although my sinuses are still really painful and it's hard for me to remember not to clench my teeth (which gives me a headache) but so far so good. My throat is sore again today though  Honestly, before I came to work at Speedo I was hardly sick a day; apart from the actual medical stuff going wrong as a result of being a biological oddity  but now I work in a huge open-plan office, full of people with kids of various ages who all seem to bring in and share the most virulent bugs. I guess my immune system is a bit low as well so I'm taking vitamins every day and trying to stay caught up on my sleep.

Have a good Hump Day everyone.

Afternoon all.
Took the day off today so I had a lazy morning and have a meeting with my old company this afternoon to "have a chat"

Could be interesting
