Morning all,

Got up at around 5 to take Kalena to work, and am now back home about to have a cup of tea then head off myself...

Good news! I became an uncle again at 04:35 this morning. My brother s a wind up merchant, so I'll take this with a pinch of sat for now, but apparently he will be called... Thomas Gunner Vella... yes, he supports [A r s e n a l]

Just goes to prove the old adage... in fact it proves several of them!

Anyway, the kettle has boiled so...

Have a great day everyone.

:)

Hello.

Back at home for the time being. Plenty to do, though.

And so to the first cuppa of the day.

*wave*

Morning all

Leg giving me considerable grief at the moment. I have a physio appointment booked but not until 10th March. In the mean time the Doctor has prescribed a fairly decent level of painkillers, hopefully that shall keep everything at bay.

Morning All,

Jon hope the painkillers keep everything under control, HK and J_V enjoy your first hot drink of the day, and J_V congratulations on the arrival of your new family member, whatever his name shall be.

I had a run-in with a white van man this morning and arrived at work feeling all agressive, but everything is calm and I am ready to get on with work. My boss has just called to let me know that the person she's supposed to be meeting at Google hasn't shown up yet, and my other Boss has called chasing the brief for an interview he's doing that is being filmed here tomorrow. There are a load of strangers wandering around the building, and I have quite a hefty list of things to be getting on with.

My cold has come out properly, my sinuses cleared quite dramatically and disgustingly in the night so I have a proper sniffly nose this morning and my throat has gone scratchy especially for the party!! I could still do with a lot more sleep, still have to keep from clenching my teeth, but on the whole feel a lot, lot better!!

Happy Thursday!!

Lo peeps

Like Zippy, I had a bit of a traffic altercation this morning. Mrs Mondeo was bimbling up her farm track and decided to pull out - despite me doing 60mph. All I could do was slam on the brakes due to oncoming traffic and a trip into the field didn't hold much appeal. ABS kicked in and I missed her by about 2' Anyway, followed her for 5 miles as I made my way to work and stuff me if she didn't turn into the same car park I use. The look on her face when I parked right next to her was priceless. After a one-sided exchange of words she apologised - and her explanation for pulling out......... she would have lost her momentum and there was a queue of traffic so she wouldn't have got out for ages

Am settling down now but was physically shaking for a while. I'm in a right mood now.....

Al

Morning all. Congratulations towards the Vella family. Evil thoughts towards Mondeo drivers.

Morning all.
Off on a training course today should be fun. By the end of the day I should be an accredited 3CX VOIP systems installation bloke.
Shame the MD is coming as well.

Morning all.

The pain in my leg is getting better with the use of drugs. The doctor had advised to go easy with the Solpadol to start off with as the full two tablet dose contains about 60mg of codeine which apparently makes a lot of people rather dopey. Stuck to a single tablet dose whilst in work which wasn't really doing the job. Tried two once I got home and the repercussions wouldn't be so great if I got a little weird and it worked like a charm and there was no weirdness either, which means I can take it during the day as well.

Here's to the marvels of modern science!
