That's one thing that would turn me off about it. Also, my brother has it set so that a two finger click takes him to dashboard (or spaces, can't remember) but I always trigger it by mistake as my middle finger rests on the mouse when I click with the index finger and so triggers a two finger click.

I am looking at getting an iMac next year and it looks like the mighty mouse will be the only option. I will more than likely get a typical USB 2 button scroll wheel mouse as it will do all that I want plus probably be a lot cheaper.

The only thing that annoys me is there is no middle-click. I used to click the nipple to do the same as pressing F9...Otherwise, I'm pretty impressed.

I was out shopping the other day with my brother as he needed a new keyboard and mouse (PC). In PC World I showed him the iMac I want (he wouldnt know a Mac from an Amiga to be honest, a computer is a computer!) and none of the display models had the magic mouse on them. They all had the older mouse. We then went to John Lewis to look at TVs and again when I walked past the Macs none of them had magic mice. Is something going on?

I believe the Magic Mouse is wireless, and therefore very easily pocketable. You just can't trust anyone these days.

Well it's been over a month with the supplied batteries in it, and I've just received a warning saying that the batteries are at 20%... Not bad IMO

I use rechargeables, and they seem to last pretty well too.
