So as FF is a very popular browser and it has loads of Skins, Add-ons, plug-ins, tool bars etc which ones can’t you live without?

Lets spread the word about your favourites.

I have to say I don't actually like Firefox, but I use it for web development. Why? Because of the plugins.

Web Developer
http://chrispederick.com/work/web-developer/
Full of useful bits and bobs, including resizing the window to fit various screen sizes.

ScribeFire
http://www.scribefire.com/
A free (for now) blogging plugin. Much more useful and powerful than fighting my way through the Blogger interface.

Now, if either of those was available for Safari, I'd not be using Firefox at all. I certainly don't use FF for day-to-day browsing.

en-gb dictionary (couldnt find URL, but alun has linked :P )
ABP https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865
allows you to block elements such as pictures/flash content, primarily for advert control

auto-pager https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4925
when browsing a site that has a list over several pages, this plugin pre-fetches the following pages, and rendersd them directly below the curent one, allowing you to seamlessly scroll through long lists. works well on forums, or multi-page hardware reviews

check4change https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3028
automatically refreshes a page, and alerts you if there have been any changes since the previous refresh

download statusbar https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/26
displays downloads in a handy bar at the bottom of your screen, allowing you to quickly check the status of multiple downloads without having toi pen a new window

glasser https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/7336 (make sure to use use 1.0.16 as newer version are not compatible with FF 3..0.0.10)
merges the navbar into Vista's Aero, allowing FF to mimic IE8 and change colour with Windows

and the vista-aero theme https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4988
IMO the best IE8 clone skin available

No script https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/722
Allows you to control scripts on a site by site basis.
I wouldn't browse without it.

Xmarks - synchronises bookmarks across all of your browsers and PC's - I've got a Desktop and a laptop - the laptop runs Ubuntu and the desktop dual-boots Vista and Ubuntu. I also use Flock on both as well as Vanilla firefox, so this keeps my bookmarks up to date.

Adblock Plus, of course

I'm also quite fond of Stumbleupon. It's great for visiting sites you wouldn't normally see.

FlashBlock
It blocks flash video and images from running. Instead you get a play button you have to click on to view the flash content.

Download Helper
Can download YouTube videos and the like.

Download Them All
Download Manager

The other ones I use are already mentioned by other posters.

Admittedly of use only if Zen internet is your ISP but:

Zen Usage Checker

So I always know if I'm about to run out of internet.
