The recipe is self raising flour and water in the ratio of 4:3 kneaded and then steamed for about 5 minutes. You can also microwave for a minute or two provided you cover them to prevent drying out.
If you roll out the dough about 2oz at a time into circles, then you can fold and fill them with various sweet or savoury things. A few drops of sesame oil adds a good flavour, and they do taste better if you add a little sugar to the mix.
