Crashed again on boot this morning after it had gone to sleep.... i think it said driver not equal to irq , but it flashed by to quickly to make sure...

On the German MS forums, there are some posts, which seem to indicate BIOS setting problems.

Try:

1. Setting the BIOS back to standard factory settings.

2. In the power management, turn it to high performance (translated from German, sorry if it is something different in English) and set the drive etc. to never turn off.

See if it then runs stable. If so, contact Toshiba support and see if there are any driver or BIOS updates.

A secondary option would be to see if taking one of the memory modules out sorts the problem (when removing the first doesn't fix it, remove the second and replace it with the first and see if that helps), it could be dodgy memory (or a dodgy motherboard, but then you are down to sending it off to get it repaired / replaced).

disable set to zero the page/swap file
restart

run a system defrag (twice)
restart

then reset the page/swap file ...
