Don't talk to me about delivery jobs. More fail.

Wow. I guess I asked that question in the right thread then. Sorry to hear that. Mark

Don't feel bad about it. It didn't work out for me, I moved on. All we need, really, is for people to stop making us spend money on utilities, council tax, broken cars and stuff.

Ordering a (ordinarily full-priced) graphic novel and it turns up a heck of a lot smaller than the comics it collects, never mind the average graphic novel - I've a good mind to send it back

Well I'm leaving the rig for a second time today. So that would have been almost five weeks if I'd agreed.

l3v1ck fail!
I've been doing such good work they want to send me to a rig drilling HPHT (high pressure, high temperature) wells. And that is a MAJOR MAJOR pain in the arse! I wish I'd slacked off more now.

Made a big pot of chilli con guajolote (avicola?) yesterday. Was very nice, but poured some into a bowl and went to sit down, somehow I managed to clout it with my free hand and the bowl rotated 180° in the vertical, spraying chilli all over the floor, my new trousers, my new shoes and the sofa! Spent the next 40 minutes cleaning up, before getting a second bowl.

Another fail for Home Delivery Network. Ordered some boots from Amazon, to be delivered by HDNL. No sign of them when I got home from work last night and I went out to a meeting. When I got back at 9 there was a parcel propped up against my front door in full view of the street. Inside the house there was HDNL 'delivery' card that said they'd put my parcel in a Safe Place (my porch). Interesting definition of Safe Place.
I guess this is technically a win as I did get my boots but I just can't believe the moronic stupidity of the driver in leaving a parcel on someone's front door step and buggering off.
I really hate HDNL.

I had a parcel delivered by HDNL today. It arrived without problem but when I tried to track it the HDNL website said the details were wrong so I could not track it. A complete waste of time and effort.
