Yes I will agree. Men will want the woman to stay exactly the same, whereas women will look at a man as a work-in-progress.

Mark Twain famously said "Men go Into a relationship hoping the woman won't change; Women go into a relationship hoping the man will. Both end up disappointed."

It hasn't changed in all that time. :D

Generally Physical contact means that they are at ease with you.
The hitting can mean she wants to be seen as "One of the guys" and after watching to amny movies thinks that guys when they meet up mock punch each other with a "Yo Dude!"

Followed by repeated use of bro', broseph or dude and the extreme overuse of fistbumping ;)

I've also found that happens when a lady is "interested"... or maybe I'm just equally irresistable and irritating!

You're welcome.

Sounds like she IS at bare minimum comfortable, possibly trying to "tease" you and possibly interested.....

Play the long game and see if you can build tension. If there's no tension, she sees you as a friend - nothing more. A difficult situation if you like her. Trust me, we've ALL been there.

If there is tension, there's hope.

Or chloroform.
Or both.

"Does this drink taste of rohypnol?"

It's not a dating technique, it's a success story ;)
