I was listening to a podcast today that said that if you have an Android device and have downloaded one of the apps that have been infected you should return your handset to the shop for a replacement. This is something to do with "root" but I don't quite get what that means. I can't see much about it on the web (if it were that big I would expect to surely??) Now I hear of dozens of more infected apps. http://globalthreatcenter.com/?page_id=1331I have a list of the recent apps here.

Dozens of apps, but only three developers. I have nothing from these people. It amuses me greatly that a mall-ware author calls himself "King Mall". The clue is in the name?
