Which is why I've always preferred it. I hated the single column of text. +1 I used to be able to remember the code for that. Did it involve COLOR and RND?

BBC Basic used COLOUR as a key word. BBC BASIC V (as used on the Archimedes and beyond) also allowed COLOR. If you have a Pace or Bush set top box fr your cable TV, I understand that it may be possible to get it to boote into RISC OS. This is what happened to Acorn.

Just looked it up. Spectrum BASIC didn't use "COLOUR" - it used INK!

And you had to press more keys than it would take to just type the word. I think there were four modifier keys and the actual key on the keyboard.

That was the case with the 48k I had, but with the 128k, you could just type the word just as you typed your reply. If there was a command you'd misspelt, it would flash a ? at you.

was this cheeky? buying a ww2 relic from an online shop and I asked for a reduction in price as I only like to pay things in £10's and I ask for a £5 reduction but he refused I think, I asked what the price of the item was originally as he said its reduced already and now he hasn't got back to me, was he offended?
