Well the exit interview went well right up to the point when the lassie farted  I just couldn't keep it together after that

One more degrading thing to survive and that's the presentation. No speech ready so it will be short and sweet ;)

I feel a hangover coming on...........

Apparently Katie Price was doing a book signing

I'd have gone. If only to check if she was doing it with a crayon. While sticking her tongue out the side of her mouth.

So, received a phone call this morning from the old chestnut “we are calling for Windows as your computer is infected with viruses” malarkey. I have to say it was really cathartic to be able to vent one’s spleen with a torrent of extremities with regards to a technical telephone call. Such a refreshing change from work…

I absolutely love those its great fun.

I had one, it sounded like a nigerian woman. I had no problems telling her that I was safe behind a multitude of firewalls.

So 25 years experience and a portfolio thicker than your arm, no doubt, counts for nothing these days?

It beggars belief.

Unfortunately I see it all the time. Some people doing hiring become totally fixated on a paper qualification and not the likelihood of whether that person can actually do the job.

Ooh, pay days. I remember those. Hopefully, they'll become a part of my life again soon. :D

Morning.

In to the day job for the first time today. I think it'll be a day of sorting paperwork and getting set up with passwords and systems. I feel like I'm 12 all over again, and it's my first day at secondary school. :(

Have a good day, people.

Congrats and good luck :D

what does that mean? Im sure paddock means slang of "frog" and sounds like you are saying u want to take a frog and skin it alive, scything?

It means exactly what it says.....

We have a third of an acre paddock to the side of our house, the grass is very long and I didn't want to buy a strimmer so I have an Austrian scythe and am gradually cutting down the long grass with the aforementioned scythe.

Sometimes people just mean what they say.
