Morning all,

Not been around lately, having spent the last three days in bed with a doozy of a chest infection. Starting to feel almost human again, aside from the side effects of the antibiotics, and constant coughing.

Oh well, I've pretty much decided that I'm going to survive this, but I may need the rest of the week off. Can't be teaching if I'm running off to the toilet every five minutes.

And on that note...

Have a great day everyone.

:)

Why, thank you. I think. :? ;)

Sadly, I'm not as fit as I should be. The human body is an odd device, prone to all kinds of ailments if you don't look after it. If, perhaps, I had been working on building sites all my life, I may be fitter than I am now. I've had a career that involved being hunched over drawing boards, and latterly over computer keyboards, and so I'm a wreck.

Osteopath later, so she can laugh at my back problems for a bit. I like to bring happiness and joy into people's lives where I can.

Onwards and, avoiding the icy patches, sideways.

Morning all.

Just had a conversation with my business bank. They've actually reversed charges on my account.
They were a tad steep to begin with (£45 for a 64p overdraft) but they actually did something about it.

If only their personal banking department were as helpful

Afternoon all,

Well, it's definitely cold enough for snow at the moment. No sign yet though.

Onwards.

Afternoon all,

Still off work. The antibiotics seem to be working on the chest infection. Unfortunately there are also some fairly serious, toilet related side effects which I won't describe here...

Supposed to be going back to work tomorrow, but at the moment I'm really not sure that returning would be the wisest course of action.

Time will tell.

See you later everyone.

:)

I'm hoping that whatever it was that was making my guts do the mambo has just gone for a swim. Certainly I'm feeling much better.

Fingers crossed. :)

Morning.

The back is better today, thanks to osteopathic manipulations and some mild exercises.

In other news, it's Friday. Again. Seems like only a week since the last one.

Onwards and ever so slightly up to the right.

Morning all,

Back at work and dosed up with antibiotics and Tesco's own brand imodium... let's hope that the students decide to play nice today.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all,

Got to the station, told that the signal centre had rebooted. Then found out that when the unit I'm on tries to connect to it it reboots and stops the whole network. NR won't let me do anything to try and help, so the service is currently looking at running about an hour and a half late...

Morning,

It actually snowed a little last night but, being the mildest night we've had for over a week, nothing settled.

Have a good one.

Morning all.

Friday at last. Snow last night made things a bit trecherous this morning.
Still, not long till the weekend.

Have a great day folks.
