How did you not notice the (presumably blatant) displays of pancake mix and pancake batter?

I'm gonna give it a miss tomorrow and have a huge stack on wednesday when I'll have more time to enjoy them.

It's because they haven't been helpfully on display 4 months in advance, unlike all the other annual event paraphernalia... makes quite a nice change really...

We didn't bother going out to the Shrove Monday carnival yesterday and I am off to physio tonight, so I won't be eating pancakes tonight.

E carnivale questa notte!

Apparently, I'm supposed to have a costume. I think I might swap uniforms with one of the Scandis and go as someone beautiful

No pancakes, just drinks and hot Northern Europeans.

Yum. Pancakes are one of those things that I'd love to eat regularly but just never get round to it!

For anyone interested, I'll be going wild and exposing myself for plastic necklaces later

Same here, but for me the issue of fires in the kitchen stop me trying. Making the batter is easy, cooking it with memory loss is another matter.

You can of course buy pre-made pancakes you warm in a microwave. Just in case you were feeling left out :).
