How did you not notice the (presumably blatant) displays of pancake mix and pancake batter? I'm gonna give it a miss tomorrow and have a huge stack on wednesday when I'll have more time to enjoy them. _________________ He fights for the users.

It's because they haven't been helpfully on display 4 months in advance, unlike all the other annual event paraphernalia... makes quite a nice change really...

We didn't bother going out to the Shrove Monday carnival yesterday and I am off to physio tonight, so I won't be eating pancakes tonight.

E carnivale questa notte! Apparently, I'm supposed to have a costume. I think I might swap uniforms with one of the Scandis and go as someone beautiful  No pancakes, just drinks and hot Northern Europeans.
