The only two mainstream parties (ie the top 4) that are united on their viewpoint on the EU are the Lib's (in) and UKIP (out).
Labour and the Conservatives are just as split except the Conservatives are more publically split.

For many it is not as simple as a straight in out choice. I would prefer to stay in but recognise that there need to be changes in the way the EU is run and guided.

It also depends on the phrasing of the question. Now while there are many problems with the EU and the commission I actually have more faith in it maintaining rights than in our government. On another similar thread I did joke about membership of the EU allowed us to get shot of you! Exit would mean that we would have to take you back.
