As above, I fondle fruit. I fondle french sticks or cobbs if they're in packets but not if loose. I avoid loose bread rolls unless I've just seen them put out.

My local bakery has all the loose rolls behind the counter. In supermarkets they have tongs so no need to use hands at all. As for fruit and veg I usually look them over before picking them up. Though with many fruit I do not care and will wait till it is ripe before eating, even if it is a week or more. Plus I can always wash it no matter how many hands have been on it. People are starting to spread that fake woman beats phone thief up video as if it's real, even though it displays all the acting skills of Sunset Beach.

Here most people still buy from the baker's and you can't touch them there. The supermarkets have recently started selling fresh rolls as well, but the quality is nowhere near as good. They are in closed containers and the opening is generally too narrow for a hand, you need to use the tongs and they also provide plastic gloves and bags.

Buying from bakery is the best way, and as you say no public handling of the bread. I now make mine so it is not an issue. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk.

Stuck in DLL hell fixing a project for the guy who left yesterday, it's a lot harder when you can't install to the GAC

I just managed to avoid it. The tube stopped at Finsbury park and I jumped on to the Picadilly line. Why do they do it in rush hour?
