Ah, spoke too soon!
It's now also updated a bunch of apps including Chrome and Keyboard.
Chrome now has full screen without a hack - yay!

Think I'll go for a nexus for my next phone. Google are much better than other manufactures ( other than Apple ) for providing software updates.

My iPad has had at least two big updates and my iPhone has had a couple of minor updates. Is something happening on the 16th of September?
Ever since getting the 4.2 patch, there a message on my unlock pad saying something's coming on the 16th.
My guess is the Nexus 5, but it could easily be something else.
