As dinner - No - as a canapé - Yes

Tried some lime with that?

Well going to have takeaway BUT have put the pork into the Marinade so will have that tomorrow and it will be a lot better that way - oh added the lime juice (1/2) and a fresh (not to hot) chilli finely sliced

As have 1/2 a lime left can now have a G&T - Result!!

This is one I did

But without the tahini as I had no idea what that was lol. The citris works really well with the pork but I like the sound of yours too.

Tahini is the main ingredient in that recipe! It has a very powerful flavour. It's just crushed sesame seeds. Saintsbury sell it, but not Tesco. Too posh for Tesco.

It's best known as the other ingredient in hummus, and other middle eastern dishes as a sauce.

I've only ever done it with a chicken so far, but if required I wouldn't have any problems doing it with other animals at all.

I always thought garlic was the "other" ingredient in hummus. It sure is in my hummus anyway ;).

I do put quite a bit of garlic in, maybe 4 cloves for a pound of peas. I don't like it overpowering though, and it has to rest to let it develop a more mellow flavour. I'd use up to 4oz of tahini in the same mix.

I've just had fruity drop scones for breakfast. You could probably market them as a health food - less fat and just as much fibre as muesli. The sugar is comparable. Of course, if you added butter, cream and syrup then...

If you roast the garlic - a faf I know then you get a much rounder favour (oh and you need a lot more of it)
